Sam Rosenblum
Angel Investor; formerly with Polychain Capital, Coinbase
Sam Rosenblum is an operator and investor in the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, currently focused on angel investing and advising early stage startups.
Most recently, Sam was a Partner at Polychain Capital, a $5B crypto venture fund, where he focused on institutionalizing the firm through new business development. In his time at Polychain, Sam led fundraising efforts for the flagship Crypto Fund ($4B) as well as Venture Fund II ($300M), bringing some of the largest institutional allocators into crypto for the first time.
Previously, Sam was an early employee and Director of Global Business Development at Coinbase, a digital currency platform and exchange serving over 50 million consumers and institutions worldwide, and securing more than $200B in customer assets. In his five years at Coinbase, Sam led initiatives spanning international expansion, corporate development and M&A, strategic partnerships, and special projects.
Prior to joining Coinbase, Sam worked in the Global Strategy Group at Visa, where he focused on strategic initiatives for the core network processing business. Prior to that, he was a hedge fund strategy analyst at Lake Partners and an M&A specialist at the U.S Department of Justice.
Sam attended the Honors College at University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with honors.
